About MGB Solutions

Maria Garza Brown

Maria Garza Brown, a principled and successful businesswoman, founded MGB Solutions in 2005.

With 20 years of highly specialized experience managing accounting and regulatory compliance reporting for law firms and their business clients, Maria recognized a growing need for smaller firms to access these important services. MGB Solutions was formed to give efficient, affordable access to accounting and compliance services to those who don’t have those experienced internal resources.

Immediately prior to forming MGB Solutions, Maria assisted the government relation team for the prestigious law firm of Bracewell & Giuliani, managing compliance and reporting services for the firm’s GRAS department.

Her strong work ethic, coupled with her business approach of providing the highest level of customer service has contributed to Maria’s success as an entrepreneur.

As a strong advocate for children and educational opportunities she serves on the Advisory Board for the Hispanic Scholarship Consortium and in 2007 was appointed by Round Rock ISD’s Superintendent, Dr. Jesus Chavez to serve on the district’s Boundary Committee. In 2008 she was appointed to serve on the district’s Champions committee. She is also a member of the E3 Alliance, an educational organization formed to drive educational excellence in the region.

Maria also played an important role in the founding of the Meridian School – a public, tuition-free charter school serving the students of Williamson County.

Brown’s civic service has included leadership roles with the Williamson County Republican Women, Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas, the Round Rock Chamber of Commerce, Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Professionally, Maria is an active participant in the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers.
